The Aussie Curves theme this week is “Fears Exposed”, which was actually a bit of a challenge because I’ve been tackling my ‘fashion fears’ pretty rigorously this year! In fact, my very first AC post back in March was of this scary dress. And then I met Lime Crime and started wearing lipstick. Over the summer I bought my first fatkini and let someone take photos of me in it! I also started wearing reds and oranges and all the colours a redhead should not dare go near. And, pretty recently, I rocked a crop top and pencil skirt… TOGETHER!
So what’s left? WHITE, of course!
Not just white, but HEAD-TO-TOE WHITE.
As somebody who grew up dressing as a borderline goth girl, white is still inherently off-limits to me. I wonder if Jacqui noticed the look of terror in my eye when she handed me a completely white ensemble to wear for the new season Pho Sizzle collection?! Either way, I made it through the shoot unscathed and, looking back on the photos, I looked pretty dang nice! Although my favourites are definitely the white skirt paired with some colourful tops like the Gone Fishing and Smooth Sailing. *swoooooon*
