Well well well! Aren’t you guys just the greatest bunch of internet pals a gal could have?! My first blog post in three months, and all that love for the Punyus. Thank you, thank you, thank you! <3
If you missed it, you can catch up on yesterday’s outfit right here, and know that i’ll be doing an outfit post everyday this week. Friday’s post will also have my very first video blog! I’m not nervous, YOU’RE nervous. Whatever. O_O
Anyway, I waffled on for ages yesterday and gave you heaps of background on my Punyus obsession (sorry about that), so today you deserve a little reward. I’m cutting straight to the chase!
TA-DA!
On the second day of Punyus, Naomi gave to me – a crop top with a kitty’s booty!
THE CUT & FIT
What can I say? This is a top – it fits like a top. But heck, it’s comfy. I often find the arm and neck holes can be a little short, but this one is a dream. Secondly, it’s a longer crop length so I can actually tuck it into the top of a high waisted skirt on chilly winter days such as these.
THE QUALITY
Basically the same as yesterday, in that I haven’t really worn and washed a lot of my pieces yet, so I can’t be super sure. But since this doesn’t have a print to fade, i’m pretty sure it’s going to get a lot of wear before it’s relegated to the role of bed wear. The fabric feels nice and lush.
THE COST
This top is now on sale for JPY 2,149 / AUD $28 / USD $21.50! I paid a bit more for mine (*covers eyes*), so if you want one, now’s the time. It’s basically a steal!
THE SIZE I’M WEARING
Again I am wearing the size 3, which is the second largest size Punyus stocks. WELL, actually. Some of they size charts say they go to a size 6, but I certainly never saw any of those in store. Rare unicorn size, perhaps?
According to the size chart on this top, the size 3 should have a 60cm flat lay width, with a 54cm length. I just measured mine and it’s pretttttty close; 63cm wide, and 51cm long, with a bit of wear and stretch, maybe?
WHERE TO GET YOURS

A NOTE ON SHOPPING OUTSIDE OF JAPAN
The Punyus website is a bit… Japanese. Obviously in terms of their language, but also in terms of their visual layout and graphics. My best advice is to use the Google Chrome browser so it will translate the majority of the text, take your time to explore the site and peruse all the pieces, and use Google Translate for any individual words that didn’t auto translate – there will be a few!
Also, Punyus don’t ship outside of Japan, but you can use a third party courier like Tenso to get your mitts on their stuff. I haven’t done it myself but it is an english language site and they are a widely-used company… i’ve seen other bloggers talk about them!
OTHER OUTFIT DETAILS
SKIRT: Torrid
BELT: Rainbow
EARRINGS: I got these from a Melbourne boutique called ‘Quick Brown Fox’, but haven’t been able to find these exact earrings online. I did, however, just find these great ones of a cat smoking a cigarette. And perhaps even more trashy than my current ones, CRUCIFIXES made of CIGARETTES. Ummm… NEED?!
BOOTS: Demonia
Again, thanks to my pal Sam for always being keen to move hard rubbish into the middle of the road and vogue like a mofo before oncoming traffic appears.
See you all tomorrow!
